Job summary

The Omaha Marriott at the Capital District, a Marcus Hotels & Resorts property, seeks a Sales Coordinator to join a high-energy team in downtown Omaha. You’ll learn from seasoned colleagues while driving service excellence and seamless operations to create memorable experiences for guests and clients.

You will handle inquiries, conduct site tours, prepare proposals, and coordinate event details to grow bookings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree in hospitality, business, event planning preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Marriott event software experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for outside sales activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer and distribute inbound calls to the sales/events office and communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct hotel site tours and represent the property at industry events to generate business.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales documents accurately and timely.
• Coordinate event details and logistics with clients and internal teams.
• Create and manage event orders, reports, and related documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of facilities, spaces, setups, capacities, and operational requirements.
