Job summary

Valor is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support the Sales Department, coordinating proposals, contracts, and collateral while ensuring timely communication with clients and internal teams. You will assist with groups, VIPs, and business travel from booking through departure, maintaining accuracy across reports and deadlines.

• Excellent customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and client accounts accurately.
• Proficiency with general office software and CRM systems.
• A sales-oriented mindset with ability to identify revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Director of Sales and Sales Managers.
• Monitor phones, voicemail, shared email inboxes, and inquiries with a two-hour response goal.
• Route incoming leads to the appropriate Sales Manager in a timely manner.
• Assist Sales Managers with proposals, contracts, and sales materials.
• Prepare collateral for site inspections, outside calls, client appointments, and promotions.
• Assist with administrative coordination of groups, events, VIPs, and business travel guests from booking to departure.
• Assist with month-end reporting by extracting, compiling, and organizing data.
• Coordinate communication between Sales, Reservations, Front Office, Banquets, Catering, and Revenue Management.
• Follow up on deadlines to ensure groups/events are prepared for arrival.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and hotel leadership.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as directed by the Director of Sales.
