Job summary

Lodge Bread Company is seeking a Busser/Runner to support the front-of-house team in a fast-paced café setting. Greet guests, water and bread service, clear tables, and assist in food delivery to ensure timely service.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean dining areas, stocking service stations, and coordinating with kitchen to prevent bottlenecks while handling to-go orders. Evening/weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with basic sanitation and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Promote and act in line with Lodge Bread Company’s mission.
• Greet guests and serve water, bread, and butter upon arrival.
• Clear and reset tables between courses and after guests depart.
• Deliver food from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately.
• Assist servers with guest needs and maintain appealing dining areas.
• Keep dining areas clean and orderly, restocking as needed.
• Maintain clean, stocked service stations and restock supplies.
• Coordinate expo station tickets and communicate with kitchen for timing.
• Handle to-go orders and label/pouch items for pickup.
