Sushi-san in Nashville is hiring run runners to support fast, friendly service. You will promptly deliver food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring correct presentation and heat, and assist with setup as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to stand and walk for entire shift.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willing to work varied hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promptly deliver food to the correct guests according to table and position numbers.
• Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends.
• Safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip.
• Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction.
• Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment.
• Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; frequent up to 25 pounds; stand/walk entire shift.
• Move safely through all areas of the restaurant, including stairs and uneven surfaces.
