Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Public Area Attendant to uphold Highgate Hotel Standards across all public spaces including lobby, restrooms, corridors, and fitness centers. You will perform cleaning tasks, assist with special assignments, and support room attendants as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred. Flexibility with hours and physical ability to stand for long periods are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
• Previous Housekeeping experience highly preferred
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required
• Ability to stand during entire shift
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
• Effective communication with guests and employees

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobby, Business Center, Fitness Center, restaurants, restrooms, corridors and offices
• Handle Lost and Found items per hotel standards
• Assist Room Attendants and House Attendants as needed
• Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive, friendly service
