Job summary

Ottine Mineral Springs seeks an experienced Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to manage operational procurement across our hospitality and resort operations. You will support the rollout of a new accounting system, manage MR/PO workflows, and strengthen our procurement function with supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or procurement with a focus on operations.
• Experience with ERP, accounting or procurement software.
• Hospitality, resort or property management experience preferred; construction purchasing a plus.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, PO/invoice reconciliation, and budgeting is a strong plus.
• Based locally in Broussard, LA with monthly travel to Central Texas for site visits and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day purchasing across resort and hospitality operations.
• Support rollout and configuration of a new accounting system; establish MR and PO workflows.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers; build vendor partnerships.
• Work with accounting for GL coding, three-way matching, and invoice routing.
• Evaluate purchasing patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities; improve inventory tracking.
• Collaborate with department managers and project teams to support construction or maintenance needs.
• Participate in relevant meetings.
• Flexibly perform other duties as needed or directed.
