Job summary

Union Square Hospitality Group is seeking a Porter to support the Times Square kitchen and dining areas. You’ll help maintain cleanliness, assist in ware washing, and uphold sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment at the Broadway lounge and Revel & Rye.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a sense of urgency, and pride in guest and food safety. English fluency is required, with multilingual abilities a plus. Flexible, team-oriented candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen support position within a similar environment.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• English fluency; additional languages preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Display cooperation, sense of urgency, house pride, and care for guests and food safety through ware washing and facility maintenance duties.
• Work with the kitchen team to keep cookware and storage containers in good shape and returned to storage areas properly.
• Learn and retain SOPs for sanitation duties and follow cleaning timelines.
• Partner with kitchen team to promote teamwork and efficient station turnover and end-of-shift breakdown.
