Job summary

Tailwind Hospitality, Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff across multiple locations.

You will review timekeeping, deductions, tips, and bonuses while ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws. You will also maintain payroll records, assist with year-end processing, and collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity across a multi-state hospitality operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll, accounting, HR, or admin experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll.
• Understanding of wage and hour laws and payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, ADP, TEAMWORK or similar.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations and states.
• Review timecards, labor reports, payroll adjustments, tips, bonuses, and deductions for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll spreadsheets, Google Sheets trackers, and reporting documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of employee payroll information.
