Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality seeks an Assistant General Manager to drive daily hotel operations at our North Charleston, SC property and partner with the GM to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

As essential second-in-command, you will supervise front desk shifts, lead a small team, monitor cash, budget, and revenue, and uphold our "We Grow By Giving" and service standards across all guest touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: track record of driving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• BONUS: Experience managing operations within major hotel brands (e.g., Choice, IHG, Marriott).
• Experience with budgeting, financial management, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight & Manager on Duty: front desk shifts and brand standards adherence.
• Team Leadership & Development: direct 2+ employees; hiring, payroll, performance appraisals.
• Financial & Sales Support: assist GM with cash management, budgeting, labor, inventory, and revenue; conduct sales calls.
• Quality & Guest Experience: monitor guest issues, ensure clean rooms and satisfaction; uphold brand standards.
• Property & Asset Protection: protect company assets and support backup duties across departments.
