Job summary

Oak View Group seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead hospitality operations for Regions Arena and related venues in Mobile, AL. This role partners with the General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences, optimize labor and costs, and drive financial performance in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

The position requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with initial base duties at the Mobile Convention Center and a transition to Regions Arena after opening

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive leadership in food and beverage, hospitality, concessions, or event operations.
• Experience managing high-volume hospitality operations in arena or similar venues.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM of hospitality in planning and executing food and beverage operations, concessions, catering, premium services, and events.
• Lead event operations from pre-event planning to post-event breakdown to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing hospitality team with accountability.
• Manage staffing plans and scheduling to optimize labor costs and productivity.
• Monitor costs and analyze financial reports to improve profitability and service quality.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and POS operations for accuracy and efficiency.
