Job summary

Kolter Hospitality seeks an Assistant General Manager for Hyatt Place Delray Beach to lead daily hotel operations and guest services. The role requires ensuring brand standards, managing department heads, and maintaining a safe, well-staffed and profitable property.

You will oversee maintenance, sanitation, training, scheduling, budgeting and HR processes while promoting a guest‑centric culture and high service scores. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of relevant experience in hotel management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably hotel management or equivalent education a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, asset protection, guest service, sales, food and beverage, accounting and human resources.
• Ensure brand standards and proper staffing across departments.
• Resolve guest issues to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Monitor operations to meet budgeted goals and maintain sanitation standards.
• Hire, train and coach team members; discipline as needed with GM/HR input.
• Ensure timely brand training and compliance with state law.
• Prepare accurate property reports and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Walk the property regularly to assess condition and coordinate with teams.
