Shivaay Group LLC is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the Avid Hotel in Madison, Alabama. This in-person role covers routine plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, property inspections, and prompt response to guest maintenance requests.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years hotel/apartment maintenance experience, knowledge of essential systems, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and friendly demeanor.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the US and have reliable transportation.
• 2+ years hotel/apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify issues.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.
• Maintain inventory of repair supplies and equipment.
• Assist in setup and maintenance of hotel amenities and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations.
• Document maintenance activities and report major issues to management.
