The Inn at Stonecliffe, operated by Schulte Hospitality Group, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our team on Mackinac Island. This year-round position includes employee housing and a hands-on role maintaining hotel facilities.

Responsibilities include grounds and public areas oversight, preventative maintenance, HVAC and electrical upkeep, and timely completion of work orders. The role requires physical stamina and strong technical knowledge.

Competenze

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Excellent time management skills.

Mansioni

• Oversees property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Checks fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintains spare parts inventory.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly and fulfills work orders.
• Completes daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
