Schulte Hospitality Group’s Inn at Stonecliffe on Mackinac Island is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team year-round. Employee housing is available as part of this role.

You will oversee guest rooms, public areas and grounds, performing preventative maintenance and repairs. A background in HVAC, electrical and carpentry is preferred, with at least 3 years in hotel maintenance and related technical training.

Competenze

• Three or more years in hotel maintenance preferred.
• College or trade school in mechanical/electrical/technical disciplines preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversees property grounds, public areas and guest rooms.
• Performs preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC.
• Checks fixtures, lighting, and signs; maintains spare parts and bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders promptly.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completes daily rounds and reports problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
