Job summary

Towne Nursing Staff is seeking a Director of Hospitality and Resident Experience to elevate the resident and family experience across independent and assisted living communities. This role bridges hospitality standards with senior living operations, training staff and leaders to deliver warm, dignified service.

You will lead front-of-house management, coordinate dining services with culinary teams, and travel between communities to ensure consistent training and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-of-house hospitality management experience.
• Strong knowledge of culinary fundamentals and plating standards.
• Experience training, coaching, or developing service staff.
• Excellent presentation and public-speaking skills.
• Ability to build trust with staff at all levels.
• Understanding of what exceptional service looks like and how to teach it.
• Willingness to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver hospitality-based service training programs for dining, concierge, front desk, activities, and care-adjacent staff.
• Create onboarding curricula that instill a 'resident-first' service culture from day one.
• Lead ongoing coaching sessions, service audits, and role-play scenarios to reinforce standards.
• Develop training materials, service scripts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Train dining and culinary staff on plating techniques and dietary accommodations.
• Lead cross-community training and act as liaison between corporate hospitality vision and community execution.
