Job summary

Sonic | Texas is currently seeking an Assistant Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced restaurant setting, delivering outstanding guest experiences and overseeing daily operations and financial responsibilities.

You will empower staff, recruit and train, schedule and forecast needs, ensure cleanliness and food safety, and support the General Manager during busy periods with a Can Do attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by providing high-quality service and products.
• Customer Service: Answer questions about the menu and provide recommendations.

• Restaurant Operations: Manage the shift by ensuring your team has all the tools they need to succeed.
• Restaurant Operations: Ensure the restaurant meets critical standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Restaurant Operations: Effectively schedule staff, forecast and order inventory needs, and maintain restaurant equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Restaurant Operations: Support the restaurant's sales goals and manage inventory, cash, and other financial responsibilities as directed by the General Manager
• Restaurant Operations: Ensure compliance with all restaurant, brand, and franchisee policies.
• Restaurant Operations: Demonstrate a readiness to assist the team during busy periods or as needed, showing a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out with service, food preparation, and other day-to-day operations.
• Team Leadership: Participate in the recruitment and training of a diverse team to achieve and maintain high standards of operation.
• Team Leadership: Support team member development through cross-training and delegating tasks effectively.
