Job summary

HUNGRY is hiring for a hospitality-focused role in Pleasanton, CA. You will receive catering deliveries, heat and finish meals, and present food in a clean, organized manner.

You will educate customers on offerings and assist with coffee and beverage equipment when needed. Ideal candidates have prior hospitality/culinary experience, hold a Serv Safe Manager Certificate and a current Food Handler Card, and can troubleshoot issues calmly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or culinary experience required.
• Serv Safe Manager Certificate and Food Handler Card required.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Attention to allergens and ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries of catering items from our food partner/delivery partners.
• Heat and finish meals in the oven, garnishing according to chef's specifications.
• Present and serve food in a clean and organized manner.
• Educate customers & professionally answer food related questions.
• Assist Porter/Barista with coffee grinding and brewing equipment when necessary.
• Maintain careful inventory of all food products/orders.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns, maintaining supplies, assisting Barista with performing preventive maintenance.
• Stocking and restocking of snack products.
• Quality Assurance of all food and beverage items.
• Service 3 Coffee machines, 4 Water/ice machines, helping manage the micro market--accepting orders & stocking products.

Requirements:

• Previous Hospitality, culinary, food prep experience and proven track record of success
• Possess a Serv Safe Manager Certificate current Food Handler Card and understand food safety principles
• Meticulous, dependable, organized, forward thinking, initiative-taking, and approachable
• Comfortable learning new tasks and using new tools
• Accurate problem reporting and resolution
• Careful understanding of products, allergens, and ingredients
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions & request clarification when needed

Benefits:
