Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking an on-site Hospitality Porter to support client relationships and account success in a fast-paced environment. You will master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends, and meet new people every day while ensuring a clean, organized workspace and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include replenishing coffee beans, maintaining machines, inventory management with FIFO, and assisting with trash, donations, and kitchen upkeep.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience and proven track record of success.
• Must have a current food handler card and understand basic food safety principles.
• Demonstrates meticulous, dependable, organized, forward-thinking mindset with initiative.

• Reset waste bins, empty drip trays.
• Maintain clean machines inside and out.
• Properly store inventory using FIFO rotation.
• Keep stockroom neat, take out trash, cardboard & recycling.
• Make list of items needed for next delivery and submit before noon.
• Empty drip tray and keep area clean.
• Note low inventory during morning setup.
• Restock items with labels facing out and follow FIFO rotation.
• Remove expired products and assist with donations.

The Role

As an on-site Hospitality Porter with HUNGRY, you will play a key role in maintaining client relationships & ensuring overall account success. You'll be in an energetic environment where you'll have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends, and meet new people every day.

Schedule

Monday-Friday from approximately 6am-12pm

Pay

$19-23/hr

What You'll Do

• Replenish coffee beans
• Reset waste bins, empty drip trays
• Maintain clean machines inside & out

• Properly store inventory: dry goods vs refrigerated using FIFO rotation
• Keep stockroom neat, take out trash, cardboard & recycling
• Make list of items needed for next delivery and submit before noon

• Empty drip tray, keep clean inside and out

• Take note of low inventory items during morning setup
• Restock items with labels facing out, follow FIFO rotation
• Remove any expired products from the kitchens
• Distribute all fruit varieties to each kitchen, remove damaged fruit, sort properly for donations

• Return any expired products to the storage room to be counted
• Notify solutions desk of expired products, so they can be returned to warehouse

Requirements

• Previous Hospitality experience and proven track record of success
• Possess a current food handler card and understand basic food safety principles
• Meticulous, dependable, organized, forward thinking, initiative-taking, and approachable
• Careful understanding of products, allergens, and ingredients
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions & request clarification when needed
• Prepare coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques, use grinding and brewing equipment
• Ability to educate customers & answer coffee/food related questions
• Track inventory for snacks, drinks, coffee products
• Troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, assisting with performing preventive maintenance
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
• Have experience in client success, hospitality, or operations, and love building relationships with customers
• Consider yourself a "people person," and enjoy meeting others

• Understand how to create a great customer service experience
