Union Square Hospitality Group in Boston seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to provide leadership, strategic and tactical HR support across multiple restaurants, focusing on recruiting, onboarding, policy, benefits and leadership guidance.

The role emphasizes Enlightened Hospitality culture, compliance with employment laws, training, and partnering with operations and finance to align people and business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience, with 2+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• SHRM/SPHR certification is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in HRIS Systems.
• Strong coaching and training abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver HR support for multi-restaurant operations.
• Recruiting and onboarding for hourly and management roles.
• Develop and train employees; provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws; manage employee relations issues.
• Partner with leadership on payroll processes and HR initiatives.
• Coach managers on SOPs and policy implementation.
• Maintain HRIS data and reporting.
