Job summary

Wylder Hospitality Group seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead the people function across the restaurant group. You will handle recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits and compensation, training, and safety, partnering with leadership and upholding our values.

The role requires passion for the restaurant industry, strong HRIS skills, and the ability to develop programs for staff growth. Frequent travel between units is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification required; SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
• Strong observation and sound judgment skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruiting and staffing across all restaurant locations.
• Partner with COO and unit leadership on employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and maintain the employee handbook, HR policies, and SOPs.
• Administer employee benefits and leave programs.
• Develop educational and leadership development programs for staff and managers.
• Track HR metrics such as turnover, retention, and time-to-fill.
• Manage HR budget and vendor relationships (benefits brokers, background check vendors, HRIS).
• Ensure compliance with federal and Idaho employment laws; manage wage and hour, ADA, IHR Act, I-9/E-Verify.
• Lead regular HR initiatives and workforce planning meetings.
