Job summary

Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG) in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Host/ess to greet guests, seat them promptly, and bid them farewell with a warm invitation to return. The role supports a fast-paced full-service setting with strong emphasis on guest relations and smooth table turnover.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting seating, managing drink service, and maintaining a welcoming host station. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Minimum of one year related experience.
• Familiarity with Opentable.
• Safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival.
• Inform guests their table is ready and seat them.
• Carry drinks to seats and transfer tabs.
• Assist guests with seating and table setup.
• Answer calls promptly and courteously.
• Maintain smooth restaurant flow and rotate tables.
• Keep host stand organized and stocked.
• Move furniture as directed by management.
• Identify empty tables during shifts.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Complete opening/running/closing side work duties.
