Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to join our team. This role focuses on guest services, front desk operations, and sales support to drive occupancy and revenue.

You will respond to inquiries, manage reservations, and foster relationships with local businesses and partners. The position emphasizes hospitality excellence, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and professional communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel, resort, lodge, hospitality, tourism, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Front desk, reservations, hospitality sales, or marketing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management, reservation, and other hospitality systems.
• Comfortable using email, internet-based platforms, and social media.
• Professional appearance and demeanor with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Guest Services & Front Desk: Welcome guests with a warm, professional arrival and departure experience; process check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest requests; respond to calls, emails, and inquiries; provide information on amenities and local attractions; maintain guest privacy and accurate records; coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
• Sales & Revenue Support: Respond to sales inquiries; follow up with prospective guests and groups; assist with group reservations and events; maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners; identify opportunities to increase bookings and revenue; support proposals and sales communications.
• Marketing & Promotion: Maintain an engaging social media presence; develop content highlighting the property and offers; assist with email campaigns and promotions; ensure brand consistency across channels; identify opportunities to boost local visibility and partnerships.
• Property & Team Support: Collaborate across departments to ensure guest satisfaction; stay flexible during high occupancy or events; participate in meetings and trainings; keep knowledge of services and promotions up to date; perform other duties as assigned.
