Job summary

The Glenview at Pelican Bay, a premier continuing care retirement community in Naples, Florida, is seeking a hospitality focused Accounting Assistant. The role supports the Director of Financial Services with data entry and clerical duties, and requires full-time availability Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include inputting data for resident and Health Center billing, handling deposits for Independent Living and Home Health, and processing accounts payable under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School education with knowledge of accounting and office machines.
• Date entry or personal computer experience necessary.
• Accounting experience helpful, but not required; will train as needed.
• PCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and inputs data into the computer for resident and Health Center billing.
• Records and prepares Independent Living, Home Health, and miscellaneous deposits.
• Reviews accounts payable invoices for accuracy.
• Inputs accounts payable into the computer, forwards to department head for approval, and generates accounts payable checks.
