Job summary

Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, Montana, seeks a Director of Finance & Purchasing to lead day-to-day financial and administrative operations, budget development, and strategic purchasing that support guest experiences.

This hands-on leadership role partners with the General Manager to provide financial insight, manage vendor relationships, and ensure strong internal controls across accounts payable, inventory, and technology needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, purchasing, or operations with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial and accounting operations with accurate records and strong internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial analysis.
• Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to provide financial insight and support decision making.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end processes with the corporate accounting team.
• Lead Ranch-wide purchasing, vendor relationships, pricing negotiations, and major purchases.
• Oversee accounts payable, receiving, and inventory coordination.
