Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking an Area Director of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership across a portfolio of hospitality assets in Seattle. You will partner with GMs and ownership to drive profitability and asset value.

You will oversee financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance, manage cash flow and cost controls, and mentor finance teams at assigned properties. Onsite in Seattle, with strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting required.
• Five years of accounting experience in the Hospitality Industry or CHAE certification desired.
• Knowledge of federal/state tax laws and filings.
• Experience with different accounting software; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership across a portfolio of hospitality assets.
• Oversee financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
• Manage accounting processes, cash flow, and cost controls.
• Ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and accuracy of reports.
• Lead and develop finance teams across properties.
