Compass Group USA's Restaurant Associates division seeks a Controller to oversee the full financial operations for the World Bank account, providing strategic guidance, analysis, and compliance oversight in a dynamic hospitality setting.

The role partners with operational leadership to manage budgets, forecasts, reporting, and client financial commitments, driving accuracy and continuous improvement across the account.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Progressive accounting/financial management experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing P&L statements and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all financial aspects of the World Bank account, including accounting, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare and present monthly P&L, balance sheets, and operating metrics.
• Monitor costs and operating expenses to identify improvements.
• Develop budgets and ongoing forecasts in partnership with leadership.
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and cash/credit card processes.
• Oversee client billing and ensure timely invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and respond to findings.
• Prepare sales tax and regulatory filings as required.
• Strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Provide financial guidance to account leadership for strategic decisions.
• Lead financial modeling and process improvement projects.
• Mentor finance team members as needed.
