Job summary

Country Club of Colorado, part of the Troon family, seeks a hands-on Controller to lead daily accounting, financial reporting, and business analysis in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will partner with operational leaders across departments, help manage cash flow, and ensure accurate financial statements.

The role offers some remote flexibility based on club seasonality and needs, with opportunities to grow within a global leader in golf and community management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience in private club, golf, resort, hospitality, or multi-department environment preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely monthly and year-end financial statements and reports.
• Manage monthly and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial performance and produce budget-to-actual variance analyses.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and member accounting processes.
• Monitor cash flow and provide reports to Club leadership.
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard Club assets; support audits and compliance.
