Job summary

Country Club of Colorado in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will partner with operations, manage closings, and provide analysis to guide decisions across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in accounting/financial management, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication. Jonas Club Software experience is a plus; CPA/CMA is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience in private clubs, golf, resort, hospitality, or multi-department environments preferred.
• Jonas Club Software experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
• CPA or CMA designation is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements and reports in partnership with leadership.
• Manage monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial performance and produce budget-to-actual and variance reports.
• Oversee AP/AR, member accounting, cash flow and liquidity reporting.
• Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts, and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, audits, taxes, and compliance with policies.
