Job summary

Hungryboy is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department at our Las Vegas resort hotel. You will plan, direct, and schedule maintenance, manage performance, and drive project implementation to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The role requires five years' experience managing a facility or engineering team, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and hands-on work with HVAC, water systems, and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Engineering Department's programs and systems under the Chief Engineer.

• Oversee efficiency and productivity via the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, building codes, and regulators.
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure department functions meet high standards.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections.
• Complete work orders timely.
• Meet with liaisons to discuss priorities.
• Review reports to compare actual vs. planned.
