Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Events Sales Professional to deliver exceptional service to internal partners and external clients. You will manage all aspects of events—from pre-sale through post-event—while forecasting group room blocks and F&B revenues to maximize hotel performance.

You will work with multiple internal and external teams, learn Delphi/CI/TY/PMS-based processes, and participate in client site visits and tastings.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality event planning and/or sales experience required.
• Experience working with clients/customers to deliver positive and satisfactory outcomes.
• Understanding of hotel operations in order to plan successful event/meetings.
• Strong administrative skills that includes knowledge of a variety of computer systems required to perform daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients at all times.
• Respond quickly and professionally to all internal partners and external customers with clear communications.
• Monitor and manage pre-event, event, and post-event details including room blocks, space, concessions, group histories, and billing details.
• Forecast group rooms and F&B revenues with internal partners to maximize hotel revenue.
• Learn and utilize digital sales systems and hotel sales processes to achieve goals.
