Job summary

Asher Adams, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking an Engineering Manager in Salt Lake City to lead and inspire the hotel's engineering team, maintain high equipment performance, and ensure safety standards.

The role requires 3-5 years HVAC experience, supervisory background, strong communication, and knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems; you’ll partner with hotel leadership to deliver reliable operations and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak English fluently.
• Hotel/institutional HVAC experience 3–5 years.
• HVAC certification or journeyman level experience.
• 2–3 years previous management/supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and life-safety systems.
• Basic computer and administrative skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with public and staff.
• Meet minimum age requirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high morale for engineering staff and lead by example.
• Teach and coach engineering team members on repair and maintenance.
• Ensure standards and policies are followed; manage staffing levels.
• Address problems promptly with employees and supervisors.
• Understand HR policies and procedures and apply fairly.
• Promote hotel service standards across the engineering team.
