The role emphasizes budget control, capital projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation in line with corporate policies. The position requires a seasoned leader who can manage engineering teams, oversee vendor contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in a facilities engineering leadership role in a hotel/resort.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction or property management.
• Extensive project management experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of building systems and facilities.
• Develop and manage the engineering budget and capital expenditures.
• Set guest service standards and ensure safety and compliance.
• Plan and supervise maintenance contracts and vendor relationships.
• Provide clear communication with stakeholders and prepare reports.
