Job summary

Montage International is seeking an Engineering Manager in New Jersey to lead maintenance operations across a luxury property. The role partners with the Director of Engineering to implement preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, and drive reliability across mechanical and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has extensive engineering experience, hospitality familiarity, and strong leadership to deliver high standards of service and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Five years’ engineering experience.
• Two years’ management experience.
• Three years’ experience working in mechanical trades.
• Previous hospitality experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of HotSOS and Energy Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, repair, and operation of equipment and building systems per preventative maintenance programs.
• Oversee central plant, painting/project teams, and external vendors on facility projects.
• Assist Director of Engineering with department budget and cost controls.
• Lead safety initiatives and energy conservation across the property.
