Job summary

The Arlington of Naples is seeking a Security Guard to protect residents, guests, and staff while delivering warm hospitality and prompt response to emergencies. The role blends front‑line security with patient care during medical incidents in a welcoming community setting.

You will monitor access, conduct patrols, document incidents, and cooperate with the Director of Facility Services to maintain a safe, well‑managed environment.

Qualifications

• Class D Security License preferred.
• Ability to respond on short notice and work flexible schedules.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Exceptional hospitality mindset and customer service focus (required).
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training related to first response, emergency preparedness, and community safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a warm, professional manner.
• Verify, document, and monitor access for third‑party contractors, visitors, and vendors entering the community.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to everyone entering and leaving the premises.
• Respond promptly to fire alarms, emergencies, and security incidents throughout the community.
• Conduct scheduled patrols and security rounds inside and outside the buildings.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and team members for safe procedures.
• Assist with special security needs involving employees, visitors, and residents.
• Maintain entrances, exits, and walkways; remove snow and debris from exit areas as needed.
• Complete written incidents and shift reports detailing events requiring attention.
• Perform duties in line with policies and supervisor directions.
