VE Hospitality Group is seeking friendly and hospitable individuals to join our team as Restaurant Hosts/Hostesses. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a welcoming demeanor.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Maintain an organized reservation system, including taking reservations over the phone or through online platforms, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Manage the seating process efficiently, balancing guest preferences, table availability, and server assignments.
• Effectively manage waitlists during peak dining hours, providing estimated wait times and offering guests the option to wait at the bar or in a designated waiting area.
• Provide guests with information about the restaurant's offerings, including menus, daily specials, and promotions or events.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding table availability, special requests, and any guest concerns or allergies.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess stand and waiting area. Ensure menus and promotional materials are clean and in good condition.
• Bid guests a warm farewell and express appreciation for their visit as they depart. Collect feedback and address any immediate concerns.
