Job summary

Lucy’s Restaurant Group in Auburn, Alabama, is seeking a hands-on Quick Service Restaurant Operations Manager to lead Wildchild Taco and Little Darling Burger Co. at the Hey Day Market. You will drive daily culinary operations, guest service and team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Working with the Director of Operations and Executive Chef, you’ll oversee staffing, training, purchasing, inventory, food safety, and financial performance while upholding Lucy’s standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education related to hospitality or management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary operations and QSR processes.
• Experience leading in fast-paced restaurant environments.
• Proven leadership, communication, and people development skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, purchasing, and labor controls.
• Proficiency with scheduling and budgeting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary operations for Wildchild Taco and Little Darling Burger Co.
• Maintain top food quality, consistency, and presentation per Lucy's standards
• Prepare, delegate, and supervise staff across roles during service
• Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness compliance
• Monitor budgets and labor costs to meet financial goals
• Coach, mentor, and develop Shift Supervisors and Crew Members
• Drive guest satisfaction and respond to feedback with urgency
• Maintain clear operational controls and continuous improvement
