Le Pain Quotidien, part of Convive Brands, is seeking a part‑time team member in Encino, CA. You will provide friendly, attentive service to guests and support both dining room and retail operations, including pastry displays and beverage preparation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 months of restaurant experience, familiarity with POS systems (Toast is a plus), and flexibility in scheduling. Join a warm, team‑oriented environment that values hospitality and community.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Prepare drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Bag, box, and arrange to‑go food and pastry.
• Handle sales transactions per cash handling policy.
• Maintain pastry display and knowledge of items.
• Address guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Keep the restaurant clean and organized by following cleaning checklists.
• Answer the phone with proper etiquette and take orders over the phone.
