Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a dedicated in-venue dishwasher to support our busy New York venues. This role emphasizes cleanliness, proper handling of dishes and kitchen ware, and teamwork with chefs and other kitchen staff.

The position emphasizes sanitation, adherence to health standards, and a helpful, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided in-venue to ensure consistency with Tao Group Hospitality practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate.
• Must be able to move quickly and stay on feet for long periods.
• Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue.
• Set up dish station and perform opening/closing duties as directed by management.
• Stocks stations with necessary supplies and assists in cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Reports breakage or damage of equipment to management and participates in safety trainings.
