Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a diligent Dishwasher/Kitchen Porter to ensure clean, sanitary dishware and a smooth service flow in our on-site kitchen. You’ll support Cooks, Bussers, Bartenders, and Servers while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

This entry-level role welcomes flexible scheduling and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is a plus, and a valid Food Handler Certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
• Dedicated and hardworking.
• Able to follow verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate all kitchen and dishwashing equipment safely.
• Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary.
• Keep area in kitchen clean and free of debris and water.
• Restock supplies and stock deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Remove trash and debris from restaurant on a routine basis.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks.
• May take on responsibilities outside of this job description as needed.
