Job summary

citizenM in Austin is hiring multiple ambassadors to be versatile in hospitality—customer service, reception, concierge, barista, mixologist, and logistics. You will be a citizenM ambassador, delivering a fun, guest-centric experience with a flexible shift pattern including morning and evening windows.

Successful candidates will be fluent in English, US-citizenship or work authorization, and willing to travel for training. The role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome as they arrive.
• Assist guests at self check-in kiosks (no reception desk).
• Prepare and serve local hot and cold food.
• Handle dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and general food handling.
• Brew coffee or mix cocktails for guests.
• Act as a city concierge for recommendations and directions.
• Keep the living room and canteen clean and present food displays for the next shift.
• Assist guests with requests regarding facilities and services.

your typical citizenM shift could include:

• Making sure everyone gets a warm welcome as soon as they walk in;
• Helping guests at the self check-in kiosks (we have no reception desk);
• Preparing and serving hot and cold local food;
• Being a kitchen hero - this means you'll be dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, food handling and cooking
• Brewing delicious coffee or mixing a signature cocktail;
• Being a secret concierge to the city, answering guests’ questions about the best places to visit, eat, shop or party;ac
• Maintaining the living room and the canteen clean, and arranging food displays for the following shift;
• Helping our guests with any requests or demands regarding our facilities (you may even get some new tech skills).

Typical shifts are: morning, evening

Morning: 7:00AM-3:30PM

Evening: 3:00PM-11:30PM

Availability to work weekends is required!
