The Delaney at Parkway Lakes is recruiting a hospitality-focused Cook to join our team in Richmond, TX. This role performs full-scope, hands-on cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department, upholding high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Qualifications include a high school diploma; a culinary degree is preferred, with at least one year of restaurant or senior living cooking experience. Salary ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with 12/8/ day/evening shifts and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards.
• Prepare and serve menu cycle programs meeting nutritional criteria and dietary policies.
• Demonstrate speed, accuracy and efficiency in cooking.
• Demonstrate knowledge in cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality and revise operations accordingly.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support marketing.
• Support driving top-line revenue and occupancy through staff engagement.
