Job summary

The Avalon of Lewis Center is seeking a warm, hospitality-focused Concierge to join our team. As the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, vendors, suppliers, and service providers, this role helps create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who enters our community.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8a-4pm with weekends off. Competitive starting pay of $16-$17 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.
