Venice Golf and Country Club in Florida seeks a hands‑on Chief Financial Officer who can translate complex numbers for non-financial leaders. You’ll be a strategic partner to the GM/COO, lead a finance team, and drive processes from manual to technology‑enabled while safeguarding confidentiality.

Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, IT modernization (JONAS to Northstar 2027), and boardroom presentations.

Qualificações

5+ years of progressive financial experience with a strong team orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
Executive presence with excellent presentation and communication skills.
Experience reviewing contracts, negotiating, and collaborating with outside counsel.
Proficient in current technology, software programs, 401K administration, and defined benefit retirement plans.
Hands-on, analytical and organized, with the flexibility to roll up their sleeves in a small department.
Hospitality DNA: an innate service orientation and a genuine appreciation for the nuances of a member-owned club environment.

Responsabilidades

Lead finance function, present to Board and committees with data-driven recommendations.
Oversee accounting functions, including payroll, payables, receivables, and audit preparation.
Drive IT modernization and the 2027 transition from JONAS to Northstar.
Mentor accounting staff and develop a high-performing team.
Explain financial information to diverse stakeholders in plain language.
