Thesaguaro in Austin is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Busser to join our team. You will support servers, maintain clean dining areas, and ensure guests receive a seamless, friendly experience.

The role emphasizes courtesy, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality; prior service industry experience preferred. We offer a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow within our hotel dining program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Hospitality or service industry experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
• Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to our standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness.
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.
• Clear, mark, and take ownership of table maintenance and wipe and resets tables.
• Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers.
• Execute any additional employee duties requested by management.
• Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant.
• Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel.
• Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested.
