Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years restaurant management experience in a full-service setting.
• Hospitality Management Degree or some college preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures.
• Adhere to health, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of one or more food/beverage outlets or a portion of the operation.
• Plan and organize work.
• Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
• Recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing actions per company rules.
• Alert management of potentially serious issues.
• Ensure staff are trained and certified and have the tools needed to perform their job functions.
• Greet guests, respond to complaints, and implement service recovery guidelines.
• Assist in creating programs and promotions to market specials and increase guest patronage; participate in menu development and marketing programs.
• Monitor restaurant performance through guest feedback and financial results; initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory security, cash handling, and timely replenishment; participate in inventories.
• Help achieve revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and support annual budgeting.
• Ensure all equipment is operational and cleaned; facilities are stocked and maintained.
• May coordinate special events scheduled for the venue.
