Job summary

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Montgomery Eastchase is hiring a Weekend Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. You will help set up the dining area, greet guests, and assist with service according to brand standards and safety guidelines in a hotel environment.

This role emphasizes quick, friendly service in a fast-paced setting, with a focus on maintaining a clean dining area and supporting ongoing guest needs on weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up hospitality area before service, arrange tables and chairs, and ensure proper table settings.
• Greet guests and may serve food and beverages following brand standards and serving regulations.
• Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties in the hospitality area.
• Keep the hospitality area clean and organized by clearing and resetting tables.
• Assist with all aspects of service as requested.

Job Overview

The Hospitality Attendant is responsible for set up, clearing and cleanliness of the hospitality area in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. As a Hospitality Attendant you play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to patrons.

What you'll be doing

• Set up hospitality area before service, arranging tables and chairs, and ensuring proper table settings.
• Greet guests, and may serve food and beverages following policies, procedures, brand standards, alcohol awareness and federal, state and local serving regulations.
• Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties in the hospitality area.
• Maintain a clean and organized hospitality area by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Assist with all aspects of service as requested.

Skills and Abilities

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs. Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs. Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
