The Opportunity

As a Hospitality Associate, you will be one of the first points of contact for our members and guests and play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and positive Chelsea Piers experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will assist members and guests with questions, transactions, bookings, account needs, and general facility information while delivering a high level of hospitality at every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist members, guests, and visitors.
• Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Proactively identify customer needs and provide accurate information and assistance.
• Develop a strong understanding of Chelsea Piers programs, services, schedules, facility hours, and availability.
• Process point-of-sale transactions, registrations, and drop-in session bookings accurately.
• Assist with basic account questions and direct more complex inquiries to the appropriate team member.
• Answer phone calls and respond to or direct inquiries regarding memberships, sports programs, events, drop-in sessions, and other Chelsea Piers offerings.
• Provide directions and information regarding Chelsea Piers facilities, restaurants, tenants, and other on-site businesses.
• Rotate between Hospitality desks throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional front desk environment.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to help resolve customer questions and concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow Chelsea Piers uniform and name badge standards.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Schedule: Part-Time, early morning, evening, and weekend shifts available

Compensation: $17 - $18 per hour, depending on experience
