Job summary

Cantex is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide routine daily care and services to patients, supporting independence and safety in a caregiving environment.

The role emphasizes observation, environmental safety, and adherence to clinical policies while participating in in-service trainings. A patient-centered, team-oriented approach is essential, with opportunities for comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
• Contribute knowledge of patients' observations as required.
• Promote safe/clean environment.
• Assure that equipment including mobile devices are charged, clean and functional always and report any malfunctions to supervisor.
• Attend in-service training programs.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Networks Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employee's responsibility to enforce it.
• Attend Patient Care Management Systems weekly in-service and incorporate into the delivery of patient care.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
