Job summary

Magnolia Manor is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide routine daily care and services to assigned patients, promoting independence and comfort. You will contribute observations to the care team and help maintain a safe, clean environment and functional equipment.

You will participate in in-service trainings, follow policies on abuse prevention, and assist with daily tasks to support patient safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.
• Contribute knowledge of patients' observations as required.
• Promote a safe/clean environment.
• Ensure equipment including mobile devices are charged, clean and functional and report malfunctions.
• Attend in-service training programs.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Attend Patient Care Management Systems weekly in-service and incorporate into patient care.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
