Job summary

CareOne at New Milford in New Jersey is hiring a Hospitality Aide to support residents with daily activities in a warm, patient-centered environment. The role offers a competitive $16.00 per hour wage and is available for part-time scheduling, with opportunities to grow within the team.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with residents and staff to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong communication abilities and empathy required.
• Prior healthcare exposure is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and practice Resident Rights policies and procedures.
• Assist with resident admission, discharge and transfer requirements as assigned.
• Report any identified resident changes in condition promptly to the Charge Nurse.
• Report all observed or allegations of resident abuse to the Charge Nurse immediately per policy.
• Notify the Charge Nurse when supplies require restocking and are unavailable.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation and infection control practices.
• Attend education and training sessions as required and assigned.

Experience
